Rosaab International Bags Direct Marketing Awards
Rosaab International, a full fledged environmental brand implementation company has received an award from the Institute of Direct Marketing for West Africa Merit of Excellence in graphics and signage.
The award presentation ceremony was concluded at the premises of Rosaab International last Friday. Rosaab International fresh out of a re-branding exercise has a strong presence in West Africa and its presently foraying into East Africa using Nairobi as a hub. It is worthy of note that some other conglomerates and proudly Nigerian companies also won some award from the recently concluded IDMN event, some are Globacom, Reltel, Insight Communications and Spring Bank to mention but a few
representatives of the institute stated in their speech, that Rosaab clinched an award coveted amongst 16 West African nations. They also noted that what made Rosaab stand out in the competition was the fact that they have an after sales maintenance scheme for all clients, free after installation of signage for the first 6 months.
Receiving the award on behalf of Rosaab International, the general manager Operations Mr. Amarjeet Khalsa, thanked the Institute for the honour, and said that as Rosaab has started and is moving with great speed that they will yet achieve greater things, on an international level.
Meanwhile, the chief executive of Rosaab, Mr. Dapo Odojukan has said that environmental brand implementation; a branding concept promoted by Rosaab International and representing the company's new business is a good tool for the communication of brand identities and values.
The company says it will soon open offices in East Africa. Rosaab International has been responsible for the re-brand exercise of several organizations such as UBA, GT bank, and Celtel.
During a recent media chat, the managing director of the outfit, Mr. Dapo Odojukan said that, “environmental brand implementation is not really a new concept, because Rosaab has always been involved in this but at a lower level which consisted mainly of only signage manufacturing and maintenance, which we have been known for”, adding that: “but now we have enlarged our coast to take on the entire environmental brand implementation process of which signage manufacturing and maintenance remains a vital part while other parts are included but not limited to architectural branding, interior designs, furniture manufacturing, amongst others”.
Mr. Dapo Odojukan further said that “our role as environmental brand implementers is to help brands convey through environmental brand implementation, their values, ideals, brand identity. This will be done through the use of different established environmental brand implementation tools.”
He further highlighted the fact that “when you see a building belonging to an organization, it is very easy to know the organization even before seeing the signage as is the case with GT bank and FCMB; this is the thrust of environmental brand implementation. Everything that depicts a brand externally is creatively used to convey the brand's ideals, values and beliefs.”
Explaining further Rosaab Mr. Odojukan said that: “the conceptualization stage of brand ideals and values and the implementation stages as seen in their signage and other brand communicators is our area of interest and competence. We help to convey and create brand experience through our environmental brand implementation tools showcasing the values and ideals of the brand through these tools”.
